Sinus Lynge is Co-founder and creative director of EFFEKT Architects, a research-based, multidisciplinary architecture and planning office located in Copenhagen, DK.

The company started out as a think tank in 2003 at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts at the School of Architecture. Four years later, in 2007 EFFEKT was formalized as an architectural practice currently employing 48 fulltime staff.
EFFEKT is Danish for Impact and as the name indicate, every project is measured by the positive impact on surrounding environment.

Sinus represents an empathic and responsive approach to architecture combining thorough analysis with playful design thinking. This approach does not only find acknowledgment through their award-winning projects within architecture, urbanism and research but also is Sinus sought to pass on his experience for example as visiting professor at the University of Washington.
