Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature! 🌿 On Saturday, August 3rd, we invite you to join the TEDxLinz Community for a refreshing hike up the mountain “Sonnstein”. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is perfect for everyone! 🥾
📅 Date: Saturday, August 3rd, 8:00 AM - 18:00 PM / 20:00 PM (depending on which train we catch)
📍 Meeting Point: 8:05 AM at Linz Main Station in front of Spar - train leaves at 8:20 AM
🏔️ Hike: Sonnstein (600 metres in height, see the tour details here: https://www.komoot.com/smarttour/24409790?tour_origin=smart_tour_search)
Highlights include:
✨ Breathtaking views
✨ Fresh air and exercise
✨ A chance to meet and connect with fellow community members
✨ Light refreshments at the end of the hike
Don't forget to bring:
🥤 Water bottle
🥪 Snacks
👒 Sun protection
🎫 Train tickets from “Linz” to “Traunkirchen Ort Bahnhof” (can also be bought at Linz Main Station)
Optional: Swimwear - to take a dip in Traunsee after the hike
